Stampin up Punch art! Retiring Punches!

I decided this month for the Punching class we are going to do exclusively punch art cards! Since the envelope punch board is not retiring, I wanted to focus on some of the retiring punches!

I hope you can squeeze some time in THIS Thursday April 20th, to join in on the fun. We will meet at 10am or 6pm. Let me know if you can make it by Wed.

Also the Occasions cards class this month at the Bluffton Parks will meet at 6pm on Monday April 24th, instead of the usual Thursday. I need 5 to hold the class, so let me know if you can attend by Friday.

Here are the cards for the Punch art class This Thursday!
Now I don't work the greatest with making faces, I loved the kid faces I saw at Alex's creative corner, while hers were too cute, I wanted a little softer of facial expressions, since I also wanted to create a frame. So I looked online and copied Stampin' Ups retired set sweetie pie for my inspiration. The frame idea came from the easy peasy tutorial from Trinity Designs and used the retiring Decorative label punch. The corners are punched out using the retiring elegant butterfly punch idea from Qbee's

The lion punch art idea came a little bit from myself as I worked with the main using the retiring Medallion punch, the eyes from a cut in half heart from the Owl punch and the paws from the retiring Festive flower punch, but mostly from Alex's creative corner, just love all of her punch art ideas!

This adorable doggie is made with of all things...the acorn punch! Thanks to Crafty Cow creations for this stinkin' cute idea!

I found this adorable idea for a unicorn here, uses the owl punch and the fox punch(fox punch  is not retiring, but the OWL is! :(

This lovely idea came from Frenchie's team:

And, here are the cards for the Bluffton Parks class featuring sympathy and thinking of you:

Please note this class will meet on MONDAY, 4/24 at 6pm at city hall.  Cost for the cards are 4 for $8 or 6 for $12. RSVP as soon as you can so I know if we can hold this class since it's on a different day than usual! Thanks!

Here are the lovely cards, the last two didn't make the cut, but thought I'd share anyway! :)

Stampin up Retirement 2017-My Top Ten picks!

You guessed it...

Okay I am going to do 3 top 10's-STAMP SETS, TOOLS/ACCESSORIES & BUNDLES

Top ten stamp sets:

1. Snow place, the cutest snowman and penguin ever and the coordinating framelits.

2. Something for baby and the coordinating framelits, if you make baby cards these solid images are just the best for an easy wow!

3. Flower patch and the coordinating framelits. Among the flower sets, this one is a favorite since I don’t have to color and I love the framelits as they have sm., med., lg. flowers and leaves and a stem.

4. Papillion potpourri and both of the butterfly punches. You just can't go wrong with this set and both the elegant butterfly and bitty butterfly punches for multiple occasions.

5. Greatest greetings has such a lovely font and it covers a bunch of holidays a real must have!

6. Petite petals and the coordinating punch, this is just the prettiest flower set with a punch!

7. In the meadow-simply gorgeous nature set, love the verses too!

8. Kinda eclectic-this set is so elegant. Love the sunshine and the leaves on their own on a card are really pretty. Also has a butterflies to go with the punches above!

9. Wetlands-another gorgeous set that can be used for multiple occasions! It is the perfect set!

10.  My hero, not only does it support Ronald Mcdonald house but it goes with multiple punches and framelit sets for lots of holidays!

Top ten Tools/Accessories retiring:

1. Succulent framelits-I have no idea why stampin up is retiring this popular set but I'd get it while you can it's at a great sale price-half off! $16.50 and you don't need the stamp set with it unless you really like it!

2. This Christmas specialty designer paper-This paper is thinner but it holds up great and contains 24 sheets and is on sale for $9.10!

3. Whisper white organza ribbon-THIS IS SOLD OUT! :(

4. Sweetheart punch-this is a unique shape for a heart punch with the curve to it rather than all the straight edge ones!

5. Medium star punch-I just love the size of this star punch it’s just perfect!  If you want more star sizes though, get those star framelits!

6. Fringe scissors-we are doing some techniques, wow's in May with these! These are so handy, I love using them to make grass!

7. Curvy keepsake box-if you like boxes and creating cute animals and other shapes with them then you will love looking at all the ideas on Pinterest for this.

8. Tags labels framelits-has so many shapes and sizes!

9. Botanical builder framelits-if you don't have these, don't wait any longer, you don't need the stamp set with these unless you like it!

10.  Floral affection embossing folders = these 2 cute embossers are just a must have!

****Some of the following may be cheaper purchased individually rather than in the bundle, check the sale prices on them as I haven't calculated them yet.

Bundles that are retiring along with the stamp set and framelits for good, these are NOT in the new catalog:
1. Shooting star bundle-I love "cheater" framelit dies, ones where you don't have to do all the measuring and calculating and it's done for you. These make great penny spinner cards! We are making one this week at the big shot class!

2. Special reason bundle-BUNDLE IS SOLD OUT, stamp set is still available, but framelits are sold out.

3. Nailed it bundle-THIS ONE IS SOLD OUT, but stamp set is still available.

4. Basket bunch bundle-it might have an Easter theme but I love the basket and the flowers for all seasons, the bunny and chic for baby cards!

5. Custom Tee bundle-this one is fun and unique, I also plan to get the tie die set for it.

Bundles that have the 10% discount but individual stamp sets and framelits will still be in the catalog:
1. Thoughtful banners bundle-any bundles with punches are the best! Tons of words!

2. Jars of love bundle-this one is so versatile! Look at the card we are making this week at the big shot class!

3. Dragonfly dreams bundle-I have seen some really gorgeous cards created with this lately and this one is a must have!

4. Badges banners bundle- another great set with a punch!

5. Bunch of blossoms bundle-lovely flowers in this set, can't wait to play with it more!

Okay that’s my favorite picks! Have fun shopping! But don’t wait too long, accessories and bundles are while supplies last. Stamp sets are guaranteed until May 22nd
